After a week of verbal warfare, Mark Cavendish and Thor Hushovd finally got the chance to contest a sprint finish yesterday. Cavendish won the duel but there was a love-in afterwards as the pair praised eath others' performances.
By winning stage 19 and his fifth stage this Tour, Cavendish, 24, broke the record for most stage wins in the Tour de France by a Briton.
