Eleven months ago in Beijing, the bond between Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins was shattered in the Laoshan Velodrome with a dismal ride as partners inthe Olympic madison event. Yesterday the were reunited on the Champs-Elysees as Tour de France history-makers.
Cavendish cruised to a sixth stage victory on the cobbles of the French capital. No man has everwon more sprint finishes in a single Tour.
