SIVTSOV WINS TOUR DE GEORGIA, HENDERSON WINS FINAL STAGE
Team High Road successfully led Kanstantin Sivtsov to the line in the final stage of Tour de Georgia to take the overall win after moving into the lead with his win in the penultimate stage.
The team took control of the final stage from early on and maintained control for the duration with Greg Henderson coming through for his second stage win of the week and Sivtsov coming across the line safely for retain the yellow jersey.
Henderson was ecstatic with his blistering sprint which also solidified his lead in the points classification.
For Sivtsov, the win is the biggest result of his career. The 25 year old very happy to be able to finish of the work of his teammates.
"This is a very important race for me and for my team. My team looked after me today to keep the race together. I am very happy."
