Adam Hansen took the second 2008 National Title for Team High Road today when he took out the Australian National Time Trial Championships held in Ballarat, Victoria. With Roger Hammond's win in the British Cross Championships on Sunday and Alex Rhodes' third place in the Australian Women's Time Trial Championships yesterday, Hansen's performance adds to an excellent start for Team High Road. Hansen surprised himself with today's performance after stating only a couple of days ago that his Time Trial training has not been up to scratch. But the clock proved him wrong and he finished the ride 53 seconds ahead of second place. Alex Rhodes was also very pleased with her performance in yesterday's event, completing what was certainly a personal best time trial effort for her and coming within a second of current Olympic Road Champion Sara Carrigan.
